South Africa’s Thomas van Rijckevorsel is the Youth Equestrian Games champion after storming to victory in Aachen.
The 17-year-old pipped fellow African athlete Jad Guerraoui, of Morocco, to the post in silver position, with the USA’s Mimi Gochman in bronze.
All 30 of the competitors have provided fantastic entertainment and sport action over the last few days in the Youth Equestrian Games, which has been held instead of the postponed Youth Olympic Games.
